Two Weeks After the Wedding (KathyMcCurdy.com)

Those of you who regularly look at this blog must be wondering why I've taken so long to get some photos of Patrick and Chrissy's wedding posted. Well the answer is simple....it took me a whole week to disconnect from that wonderful day. I didn't like the fact it was over.

In the months leading up to the wedding, I had advised both Pat and Chrissy to stop and take mental photos of their day, that it would go so fast and all the months of anticipation would be over in a flash. Well, I should have heeded my own advice. The glorious weekend went by quickly, leaving me very disappointed that it was over. I also spent the week reveling in all the photo albums people sent me, and trying to determine the best photos to order for my album.

Therein lay the other reason for the delay of this entry. Each picture was better than the next. Each represented a moment in the weekend not to be forgotten. I couldn't possibly post all of them - there were hundreds!

So I've decided to concentrate on the pure joy emanating from Pat and Chrissy that weekend. It was palpable as was the love from family and friends who surrounded them.
