The Christmas season has begun. For me it started off on Saturday, December 5 when I went to watch my great-nieces dance. "Aunt Kathy, will you come to see us dance?" OK, it had been a while since I'd sat through recitals. I could do that. Was I surprised!

Now... those are high school girls, not my cutie patooties. But what I was in for was an hour of 23 holiday songs, all danced by dance school students from first grade to twelth. It was a full production show complete with backdrops, 14 dancers on stage at a time, costume changes, the works. No dull recital, this one.
